This consent is optional. Whether you give it or not has no effect on the services you receive from BSC Health Turizm Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. ("BSC").
1. What you are consenting to
With your consent, BSC may send you commercial electronic messages about:
- campaigns, special offers and discounts;
- new treatments, services and destinations;
- newsletters, events and informational content about health tourism; and
- satisfaction surveys that include promotional content.
Channels: e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp and other instant-messaging services, and telephone calls.
Data used: your name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, language, country and the treatments you have shown interest in.
2. Legal framework
- Turkish Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages;
- Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) — processing of your data for marketing on the basis of your explicit consent;
- for recipients in the EU or the UK: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR / UK GDPR and the applicable e-privacy rules (e.g. the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations); in other countries, the applicable anti-spam rules.
3. Message Management System (İYS)
As required by Turkish law, we register your consent — and any later withdrawal — with the Message Management System (İleti Yönetim Sistemi – İYS). If you have a Turkish telephone number or e-mail address, you can view and manage your consents at any time via İYS (www.iys.org.tr, the İYS mobile app or e-Devlet).
4. How to opt out — at any time and free of charge
You can withdraw your consent at any time, for all channels or for individual channels, without giving reasons:
- by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any e-mail;
- by replying to an SMS or WhatsApp message as instructed in the message;
- by e-mail to [email protected] or by telling your patient consultant; or
- via İYS.
We will stop sending commercial messages within three business days of receiving your request.
5. Messages you will receive regardless of this consent
Service messages that are necessary for your booking — for example appointment and flight information, payment receipts, post-operative reminders and portal notifications — are not commercial messages and do not require this consent.
6. Sharing and retention
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Messages may be sent through service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. e-mail or SMS platforms), some of which may be located abroad (see the Patient Privacy Notice). Your consent remains valid until you withdraw it; we keep records of your consent and its withdrawal for three years after the consent ends, as required by law.
7. Declaration
By ticking the box below, I give my consent to receive commercial electronic messages from BSC via e-mail, SMS, WhatsApp/instant messaging and telephone, and I give my explicit consent to the processing of my contact data and preferences for this purpose. I know that I can withdraw this consent at any time free of charge.
